Visitors with disabilities

It is many years that the GAM Education Department has pursued the goal of making art accessible through the Museum; regular projects are organised for the social inclusion of people with disabilities. The programme includes augmented perception activities and ranges from the use of touch tour maps, modelling workshops, guided tours with LIS (Italian sign language) interpretation, workshops with artists and special projects.
All areas are accessible.

The 2016-2017 school year includes several activities to engage with both the Permanent Collections and with the Museum's new temporary exhibitions.

TEMPORARY EHXIBITION DALLE BOMBE AL MUSEO 1942-1959 La rinascita dell'arte moderna. L'esempio della GAM

TEMPORARY EHXIBITION L'emozione dei COLORI nell'arte

Several new activities are available for visitors with disabilities. All activities cost € 25 per group (admission to the Museum is free) and can be held Monday to Friday at times to be arranged according to group requirements. Lunch facilities can be arranged in the educational workshop area. If projects require two meetings, the second of the two is free of charge.
